I was puzzled by that too. she seemsed like she wanted to be picked even after that long talk about not clicking. But I thought maybe she changed her mind after they got relaxed and got to know each other better. Maybe she thought he wasn't so bad after all. but he did act like a little kid with the meal. I will try anything except something loaded with curry, been there tried that, HATED IT!!!

I am SO picky when it comes to eating. I hate trying new foods. I hate things that don't appease my sense of smell. Although I think he looked rather foolish in that scene, there was part of me that knew exactly what he was going through… of course I don’t think I would have told my date that I needed to lose my gum

What were they eating? Was it fras gras (I'm sure I butchered the spelling)? Regardless, I thought Evan lacked couth. He acted as if he was being forced to eat a plate of animal testicles! Wrong show, pal...

foie gras (pardon my spelling, I don't speak French and haven't got a bread bag) - is goose liver if I remember my Iron Chef episodes correctly. I have a friend who loves it. I can choke it down. I should go on Fear Factor, as I can't think of a thing they've had that I couldn't down with the right motivation. Evan is a complete clod.

Ugh, don't get this vegetarian started on the disgusting way that stuff is produced.
Evan really did show a distinct lack of manners and "class" while on his date with Alison.

I don't think him refusing to eat anything but a hamburger was all that turned Alison off. It was probably "the whole package" - how he talked, the duphus way he carried himself, the things he talked about or couldn't talk about.

I believe Alison in her post-show interview. It was totally illogical for her to say, AFTER Evan picked Zora, "Don't do that to me." If she was bothered, she would've said, "Why'd you do that to me?" or something on those lines. Instead "don't do that to me" implies something that WILL happen, not something that DID.

There's no way someone could do a total about face just because they had generally pleasant conversation and laughed a bit. She thought he was a big Klutzy duphus unpolished dork. If he makes her laugh a few times, she's probably not going to change her mind.

I'm on Alison's side on this one.

I think your spelling is correct (at least it's better than mine).

And Fluff, (cute name, btw) I certainly don't want to get you started! I can only imagine how repulsed you must be by some of the "reality cuisine". I'm repulsed, and I eat meat. For what it's worth though... no veal.

    Is Sarah a vegetarian?

Yes, many of the reality shows do call for some nifty work with the remote
