I think cost of living in the location the person lives in would make a huge difference, John. Where is our Joe Nobody from? Safe (not glamorous, but not unsafe) housing would cost more than that in New York, but I guess if he lives far enough out he could commute in and still afford to buy food.

Our "Joe" lives in Virginia Beach, and has spent several months in Paris and New York modeling. Seems like Virginia Beach would be a place that might require an income greater than $19k per year.

Hmmmm, I'm starting to believe the hype that the first prank was on the "winning" female (SURPRISE, he really isn't rich) and that the second prank is on the audience and the winning female (perhaps after she's reject his poor ass) (Surprise, he doensn't have $50 Million, but he does have a heck of a lot more than $19K per year from a construction gig). Not keeping that one as much of a secret as they did keep the "surprise" from the participants during filming.

I'll have to reread, but I thought he was living in LA... on 19 grand
    Harder there than Virginia Beach...

Just a note of clarification, Bill will be doing the recaps. Cali just wanted to make sure we all knew her thoughts on the subject And great thoughts they were!

Let me second that Cali's thoughts on the subject are brilliant, and so funny that they are undoubtedly accurate!

    Thaks guys!
I honestly don't think I could even begin to recap a show like this
I really am looking forward to reading Bills! I'm not positive I will watch the show, but I will read the recaps

I just saw this thread for the first time and it made me laugh (the title alone! )

Bill, can't wait for the 'caps

Oh, and Va Beach is not overly pricey, but wouldn't be doable on $19k/year, that's for sure. Unless he somehow convinced Rudy Boesch to give him free room and board....
