I thought it was funny that FOX gave out diamonds when she was getting the boot. I'm sure they engineered that one for her, considering they showed her lusting for diamonds about 10 times.

Ding Dong the Wrinkled Wench is Gone !!

She wore sunglasses to breakfast because she drank too much alcohol, although she would say it's because she's a superstar. She turned on anyone that David showed any interest in. She also managed to get all the others to turn on that person too!

She was the funniest psycho of the group, but I'm glad she's gone!

I am no geneologist nor do I have any facts or figures in front of me, but I would guess that the overwhelming majority of people in the U.S. are of European decent - whether it be German/Irish like myself, or Italian, English, French, Polish, Ukranian etc. (Lets not forget the only indigenous people in American are Native American Indians). This country was founded by European imigrants who emegrated from their homeland, bringing along their beliefs and customs with them.

I am not overly religious myself nor do I pray before meals - except at Thanskgiving, Christmas, Easter etc. But I always thought that most of the traditions that continue on in through generations here in the U.S. - especially regarding religious beliefs and practices - were those tradtions that were carried over from the old country.

But I guess things change everywhere.
    Two words: Pilgrims and Thanksgiving

Obviously the Pilgrims that landed on Plymouth Rock were of European dissent, and were religious people before they set foot on North American territory. However, those who came and ultimately set foot on what would be come American soil survived a very harrowing trip with many deaths aboard their ships due to illness and hunger. Food planning was less than ideal in those days, and many people suffered dearly, and many lost their lives.

The whole spirit of Thanksgiving (giving thanks to God) was directly related to their happiness and joy of finally reaching land, and surviving their voyage.

with wildlife aplenty....many were able to eat for the first time in many days or weeks. Having been through this terrible ordeal the Pilgrims thought it only appropriate to give thanks before eating. Praying to God, and giving thanks for the food they were about to eat, as well as giving thanks for sparing their lives in bringing them safely to their destination. This explains why it is a tradition in many American families to say grace or give thanks before their meals. I hope this helped clear the whole "grace" thing up for those not familiar with the tradition and the reason behind it.

Oh, and for the record.....I am not a religious person per se, but was raised a Christian. I do however have my own beliefs so I guess one could call me a free spirit. I am however quite familiar with the practices of a number of religions.

She must know she smells because she was spritzing perfume furiously when she was packing her bags.

I actually never heard this explanation before, but it makes sense. I think that in the "old days" (whenever that was) Europeans also prayed before meals. But I haven't met anyone that does now (at least among Scandinavians, maybe the more catholic countries still have the tradition???). I don't think you should judge someone by not being familiar with other peoples traditions, and feeling uncomfortable with them.

Oh God!!! For those of us Paradise Hotel addicts. I say let FOX book her into the next round of PH, and if they were to bring back Toni, I would like to see them both go at it. I think it would be great. But I agree, she was fun for a while and really made the show interesting...but...she had to go.

Olinda was mean, even more so when she was drunk. I am sure they made David keep her around until the Final 4, because her English was good and she basically became the show's narrator. Olinda, Karolina and Anique were the only three who I thought didn't need translation.

Olinda was more of a coward when she insulted Cat, almost all of it was behind her back. And I hope they don't bring Olinda anywhere near a camera again, I didn't find her attractive even 1%, just thinking about her afterwards literally makes me feel sick. I think one of the hottest girls there was Kristyna but why the hell would you tell a COWboy that you go cow tipping. I don't know if she just wanted to throw the competition and get outta there or something because it sure seemed that way.

I wasn't real clear on the cow tipping issue, something about the cow sleeping standing up and then......... ? Does what ever happens hurt the cow? (it's a redhead thing, I just don't get it) thanks

My understanding of cow-tipping is that it would probably hurt the animal...haven't done it so have no first hand experience with it.
