It amazes me how cruel and finger pointing some individuals can be. Everyone makes mistakes...some big, some minor, some life long, some temporary. We hope to learn from our mistakes and most of us usually do. The majority of us are on a different level than the Hilton's. Nothing to be ashamed about...a lot to be thankful for. The majority of us are not in the spotlight, positive or negative. What we have not heard about on a constant basis is what the "Hilton's" have given to charities, fund raisers, schools, families and friends to just mention a few. I imagine if the "Hilton's" made that information public there would be many an individual to comment negatively. We all need to be thankful for what we have..our families, friends, values and morals to say the least. So, why don't we take this program for what it is...reality fun tv with a surreal twist.

Is that the same Kim Richards from "Nanny and the Professor" and "James at 15"? (two of my favorite TV when I was a kid)

I checked the IMDB and that is the same Kim Richards and sister Kyle was Alicia, Mr Edward's step daughter, on "Little House on the Prairie"

Kathy Hilton seems like a perfectly decent (albeit ordinary) person who parlayed being blonde into marrying very very well . . .but perhaps instead of setting herself up as a mentor to these 14 folks, she might have invested a little more of her copious free time in teaching her daughters to be people of quality instead of low-rent hoochies. Given the antics of both Hilton daughters, I don't think K.H. is in a position to mentor anybody on class. Why, even the new Mrs. Trump could do a better job . . .then she and the Donald could have his-n-hers franchises . . . :)

A hearty "AMEN!" from this fellow choir-member!!! Hikari, you said it so well for me, that I barely have anything else to add, except...

I recently read an interview with Kathy Hilton. The subject was (surprise!) her daughters. Kathy said that all she sees when she looks at Paris and Nicky are two sweet, beautiful girls. Well that's ducky. And I understand a mother wanting to see only the best in her children.

But I think the antics of BOTH daughters speak for themselves. I also think it exemplifies a level of denial from a mother who couldn't bring herself to practice tough love when it was warranted. The tapes, the annulled marriage, the party antics, heck even the bad taste in wardrobe choices. lol

I'm clapping my hands and practically salivating in anticipation of the inevitable: Paris and Nicky 20 years from now. Wrinkled from the sun (or the tanning beds), one or two unwanted kids apiece, a few alimony checks poorer, six dozen more tabloid headlines. Basically both of them losers with a trust fund, because their parents couldn't or wouldn't teach them some basic values about how to behave like responsible adults. The actions of these girls shows that they simply do. not. have. a. clue. What keeps them afloat is money, money, looks, and more money.
