Do you also get the feeling that the host doesn't know who the singers are??

I can say that is a definite no.

Why do I find it OK for old guys to sing oldies, but cringe when they sing songs from today? I can't help but think this is wrong. Just when I start grooving to the tune an irrepressible giggle imerges (and I'm more of a chuckler).

So hang the prize and let this young girl launch her career with me as a backup singer. What the heck?

It has to be more subtle--persuasion not orders. That's a lot of people to rely on not talking to Star Magazine or Entertainment Tonight or whover.

Then again, the producers could just be monkeying with the tallying system.

Honestly though, it's much easier just to rely on people's natural tendencies. People are lazy and stupid, by and large. Statistically the last to perform WILL be most likely to get votes. Of course it could also be the producers don't really CARE who wins, but also isn't going out of their way to be fair with a drawing system for the performance spot (although they MIGHT do that and just aren't telling us).

Oh wow, I had forgotten this song. The original was AWESOME!

Ugh, I hate these damn short editing of the songs. Half the impact is the rolling rhythm in the buildup, that creates that sense of kinda tumbling almost out of control.

    Liking Glass Tiger so far.

Hee. Billy Vera is the Madza commercial voice guy.

It's not as funny as that guy who was a computer geek a few weeks ago though.

Well, if this were Sabado Gigante, Billy V would win it.

Or some guy running around in a bumble bee costume.
