Oh. Okay. I had no idea who they were until they named the song.

Yawn. I hate bands who are famous for nothing but "prom" or "wedding" songs.

If the people are the right age in the audience though the band may benefit from having THAT song at THEIR prom. Ergo, like Irene Cara pure sentimentality may carry these guys. They aren't bad, but geez... it's SUCH a sappy song.

Why does this lead singer remind me of Chandler from Friends?

I'm going to admit something here- I really like Glass Tiger. And, I think the lead singer looks a little like Craig Kilborn now.

I guess you had to be in Canada to really appreciate Glass Tiger

I always liked this song by Billy Vera. Special girl, special times.

I thought they did quite good. Though those swingin' hoop earings made me think their next song would be 'Torch Song Trilogy'.

Seems to be a pattern, doesn't it? Unless you stick a "prom song" band into things like they did with Glass Tiger.

Certainly Billy Vera--an actual talent--probably doesn't have any more of a chance than Howard Jones did. Audiences tend to diss the "guy behind the piano" as well as the slow-song people.

(Okay... I am aware that Vera's song has become a prom/wedding song too... but it's a much better song)
