I guess I am an old fogey! I absolutely adored Billy Vera's appearence on this show. He brought back so many fond memories! His second song was a little weak, but he was still a great performer to me!

If you ever catch the Bruce Willis/Kim Basinger movie, Blind Date (mid-eighties comedy), you'll enjoy the score performed and written by Billy Vera and the Beaters.

See, and who says getting employee of the month at your high school job (movie theater usher) never gets you anything - I was rewarded the 'limited release' soundtrack to the movie and a ten cent raise!
