Good lord Pom? You couldn't turn a radio on then without hearing Word Up.

Or in different years, that Sophie Hawkins song for that matter.

Oh look. It's HoJo. Lookin' ancient.

Howard Jones . . . that's a guy I remember and I hope he kicks butt. I'm 0 for 2 on who's going to win this show each week, so he probably won't win tonight's competition.

He's singing "No One Is To Blame" and so far, so good. His voice sounds good -- he's still got range. (Unlike Irene Cara, I hear.)

    Utter crap.
He wore the red codpiece because that was what Cameo was most famous for, because he wore it quite prominently in their MTV video. Actually it was a really fun, silly song way back when, live didn't do it justice at all.

I love that song. Always have. I would like him to win, too. How much is the audience payed to give everyone a standing O when they enter?

Who DESERVES to win isn't always who does maybe. I mean Ice Ice Maybe didn't deserve his win.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, but I think Howard Jones's performance is the BEST OF ALL THREE WEEKS.

So far Cameo has been my favorite yet. They brought it with 'em.

So far, it's about a three way tie between Hawkins, Cameo and HoJo, I think. They were actually all good. Wang Chung was the only suckage.
