I liked Irene in her prime . . .those were good songs. But I thought her performance on HMBOMT was lackluster, to say the least. Very flat, no energy . .no power to her voice. And am I mistaken or was she under the influence of something? She seemed giddy & out of it at the same time.

Using backup singers for her second number was cheating. As a solo artist first time round, she needed to be solo on that second number.

Wang Chung was robbed. I think this had to be a fix, 'cause IC just seemed not only off her game, but off her nutter that night.
