If they had A-HA on the show....no one would want to go with me

The The - This is the Day, Uncertian Smile or Infected

Oingo Biongo - Dead Mans Party

Neneh Cherry - Buffalo Stance (technically she is still a very active artist, she is a featured vocalist on Kids with Guns on the Gorillaz new disc)

I love many of the suggestions above, especially Men Without Hats and A-ha (I used to have the biggest crush on that guy...). Some more off the top of my head:

    Big Country
    Midnight Oil
    Tone Loc
    Rick Springfield
    Maxi Priest
I unfortunately think the lead singer of Big Country died too. I might be wrong though.

On December 17, 2001, Stuart Adamson was found dead in a Honolulu hotel room, having hanged himself. His suicide followed a long struggle with alcoholism and a recent brief disappearance. He was 43 years old. What an unspeakably sad and tragic end for the singer and guitarist who was the driving force behind Big Country.

I liked to see the groups Heart, and Color Me Bad. Vanessa Williams, Cheryl Lynn, Peter Frampton, Shanice, The Lakeside Band, Roll Royce, Tavares. The list goes on and on. Oh yeah and the lady that sings the song "Baby if you want me, you got to show me love."
