We're all hypocrites. Theology aside, I guess it's all a question of degree.

But I'm not looking forward to the ritual slaying of Queen/Bowie's killer bass line.
    Token Christian.

If truth is relative, how do you know?

LOL, I'm dying just in anticipation of him actually performing this song again. He will probably have some perfumed glittery melon holders dancing behind him with those hypnotic 80's dance moves, while he attempts to play it cool up front.
They serenaded the newest champs in this city of champs, and taunted Kobe Bryant and his Lakers, who drowned in a green-and-white wave for 48 minutes.

    actually he was kinda good

Actually he was kinda good. People do have his point on the Surreal life, but this show has a larger audience. And what I mean is that the exposure is good for him. He probably had to take a dozen xanax before doing that song. *If* he ever has a comeback, he has to do what he has to do, to get his name in limelight. I could google it up, but people really tore him apart, b/c I think he said he was poor and came from a middle class background. I'm not sure why he fell off the band wagon, b/c he's not a bad performer. And I have heard through a few people that he is a VERY nice guy. Just my opinion.

I saw a blurb from an interview a while back where he claimed it wasn't the same at all. The Queen/Bowie line was "Ding Ding Ding Diggy Ding Ding" and his bass line was "Ding Ding Ding Diggy DIT Ding Ding". Excuse me while I roll my eyes

That said, I did watch the (last half of the) show and I have to admit he did a pretty good job. He was a much more animated performer than his competitors.

I saw him say the same thing about the bass lines being different on an MTV interview a long time ago. His problem was he couldn't say it with a straight face. Thanks
