6/16 HGTV Star 8: Episode 2 **West Coast Spoilers**

I guess it's onto real world and team challenges. I don't think there will be any more white rooms this season.

I'm actually watching in real time during my real life trying not to get really distracted and hoping it's not really boring.

I thought this episode was unexciting and not very inspiring. I also thought the winner was wrong. They chose her because of her camera challenge and a nightstand?

Brooks is really innovative and this Camera challenge is nonsense.

David Bromstead was awful on camera at the beginning ... but they coached and trained him. I think it took a long time too. Now he is very well liked and relatable.

One of these days Boris' ego is going to write a check his talent can't cash. The rug saved him this week, but watch out for potholes, Boris.

Didn't somebody else ... one of the girls ... find those rugs and he stole the idea ? I thought he was going.

I loved the Brooks and J-guy team and they should have awarded a team win too.

I think there could have been a couple different winners based on different criteria. Chris could have won for the camera lamp and her presentation was decent; Brooks and J-guy could have won as a team; Brooks could have won for the light fixture...

But Boris should have went home.

A group of them went into the store with the rugs and Boris wanted the large magenta one hanging on the wall for the foyer. Others talked him out of that idea and a bunch of them started looking at the rug stack on the floor.

Yep ... It is just unexciting. I start to zone out and have to rewind to see what I missed. Last night I actually half dozed off.
    This cast is mostly boring.
