HGTV Star 2013

Premiers June 9, Sunday at 8/7 Central.

They've renamed it (sort of) to HGTV Star and added a behind the scenes squirrel (sort of) named Dan. David Bromstad continues as Host/Mentor and the three judges will be Vern Yip, Sabrina Soto and Genevieve Gorder.

I tell you what I found rather funny was that the preview before the last one was the one that made me more interested in watching this upcoming season. I just hope I will remember because I usually forget until it's been on for a while. Maybe now that I'm slightly addicted to this site, I won't this time.

That's weird ... we just watched the first episode on Comcast On Demand. I wasn't paying attention at first because I told my husband it had to be an episode from a previous season since the premiere isn't until next week. But it was this new season. There was a white wall challenge (no room, just a white back wall), and one designer was sent home. I was underwhelmed by all of them in the first challenge. The judges loved some of them though.

Weird. I've read other posts about other shows saying they have watched the premiere On Demand ahead of time. I don't think they advertize it though.

Once it does air on the network, I'll set up a show thread for comments.

Hey, thanks! I'll take a look.

Note ... There have been various shows that have aired on demand in advance of the premier. The only one I can think of right now is Smash! I believe one 2-part season finale aired part 1 in advance as well.

Just confirming that Episode 1 is still on Comcast On Demand. I thought it was so-so.
