I guess we should ask the mods to put this season 5 thread under that caption.

I am looking forward to it, wondering what type of person they are looking for this year. I know they found a winner in David. He has improved each year. Actually, he's the only one I watch regularly. I guess the woman who won last year will have her show premiere (I think I read this) when the next design star it announced? (or around when the new show is running).

Wow, can't believe what a difference having a different production company can make to the feel and presentation of a show. Design Star was fabulous. Hate Nina already.

Sorry guys...didn't know you would be opening a thread here. I set up a show thread in the "no longer viewing" thread for Design Star. But, it works better here.

There is a pre-show interview with Genevieve Gorder also posted on that forum if anyone is interested.

ACK. I missed it???? Life has been crazy, but this was the one show I was really looking forward to. Will have to watch it on the computer, I guess.

You know that before the judges came around there'd be a deal in place between me and my partner to ADORE what the other one did. This girl ... ugh. And of course she won that challenge.

I found it amusing when they showed Vern standing between Candace and Genevieve ... he was so small! I would be the same, so it hit me funny at the time.
