Hi, Mirage, and welcome to the board.
Thanks for your insight into the series, as I was especially fascinated by your take on Ramsay's style as he goes on to build up the contestants.
One issue that I've always had with Cowell is that his criticism isn't, for lack of a better term, particularly constructive, and I'm happy to see that Ramsay at least tries to teach the students.
I'm looking forward to this program.
The Sacred TV Guide recommends this show, gave it an 8.
Anyway I have taken a couple of cooking classes and the chefs have told some horror stories about their experiences. This one lady chef told me one of her co workers was bent over getting items out from the oven and the head chef kicked him into the oven and he got burned. I asked if the person sued or have the head chef charged with assault, my instructor looked at me as if I was crazy. If the kickee had done anything like that he would never have worked in the restaurant field again. It is just an excepted form of behaviour. I was told that chefs are under a lot of pressure and they occasionally explode.
I want to see this show. May 30? Memorial Day? a new show starts? Darnit probably won't be in the US.
If Gordon (the fat, obnoxious chef) swears just to swear, then I'll likely tune out in a few weeks.
YESSSS! I just saw the commercial for the show where Chef slams a plate of food into another chefs stomach!! YESSS FOOD FIGHT!! :whistle :kitty :kitty :hiya :confused
