I've never had pidgeon before but I did try duck for the first time in a fancy resturant in Argentina last month that I did NOT like, but don't cry for me, because I also had foie gras for the first time and that WAS yummy.

The pidgeon looks like way too much trouble to eat with little meat to bother with. But I'm just not classy that way I guess.

Uhoh more punishment....red team ALSO has to set up the dining room tonight for service before they can go into the kitchen and finish their prep work for dinner.

Michael is motivated to do whatever it takes to get his team a win tonight....I'm crossing my fingers (and toes) for him that it works.

Annual inspection at work last week. I was putting in lots of hours getting ready.
Getting extra prep time will help.

Precisely why I don't understand the appeal of Chicken Wings. I'm too lazy to work that hard for my food.

Red team finished the dining room with 5 minutes to spare so that they could finish their kitchen preparations.

On to the service....here come the orders...

Blue team appetizers are on their way out. Maryellen actually gets an atta-boy for some good tuna tonight. Red is suffering trying to get out spaghetti.

I can't stand listening to Chef Satan say, "CHUNA" instead of "tuna."

    It's spelled with a "t," pal -- a "t," as in "tea-time"!!!

Blue actually gets a main course out....then Andrew starts cracking (YAY!). Now they're in trouble cause he's backing them up trying to do garnishes *insert evil laughter here*

Nothing can make me madder than to have all of the order ready to go and my back up cook not having his end of it ready to go.
