    4/2 Show Discussion

Wow. Safe to say "shark's been jumped"?
Really? They can't even do eggs?

Maybe it's time to pull a Trump: do "Celebrity Hell's Kitchen."
    Whom would you cast?
For pure entertainment and trainwreck purposes, Kendra Wilkinson and Gary Busey come to mind.

"CHK" sounds good to me, Ellen.

Only problem is, there ain't no WAY Gordo'd be able to get away with screaming, cursing and verbally abusing in general actual celebrities (or, OK, c-listers to f-listers, anyway) like he does these idiots that come on here to get their 15 seconds of "fame".

    Eggs? PANCAKES, for God's sake?

    And Nedra?

She needs to go NOW, and I strongly suspect that Gordo JUST might bounce her next week.

    I sure HOPE so, anyway.

After all, he kept Danielle (?) LONG after HER expiration date, so, who KNOWS what he'll do?

I saw only the last 15 minutes, so I only heard about the train wreck. It's hard to believe that people there can't even cook pancakes. Just think of all of the fundraiser pancake breakfasts put on across the country where ordinary people cook hundreds of pancakes successfully.

I didn't either but they've done that before. I don't think her absence in the previews necessarily means she's out. Though she should be.

If these folks keep messing up such easly stuff like pancakes I'm going to apply to be a contestant because I can cook easy things like that.

Which I guess would disqualify me immediately.

I've been saying it -- SHARK SHARK SHARK!! this episode proves my point. I could do eggs and pancakes better when I was 10.

It looks like they never head of teflon pans either.

I couldn't figure out why they were making the pancakes in a frying pan. I use a flat griddle - much easier to flip the pancakes!

I don't think they use teflon pans, a lot of kitchens do not.

Teflon (brand name, I cannot spell the real name) outgasses when scratched or burned, even when new. It's actually pretty bad stuff for us. There are loads of reported cases of telfon killing pet birds, because their respiratory system is so much more sensitive than human's (think canary in a coal mine scenario), and plenty of lawsuits about it. Dupont has a pamphlet about it that they were legally required to create and provide upon request.

So anyway, a lot of kitchens do not use it. I don't recall seeing Hell's Kitchen using them, and if they don't this may not be the reason, but it's a possibility.

StarryElf: Then they really need to learn how not to burn the food they're cooking in a frying pan.
