Re: 7/24 Show Discussion *Spoilers*
Dana looks natural on camera until she gets into the confessional. Then she turns into a stiff, half smiling, terrified-of-speaking-directly-into-the-camera oddball. My husband doesn't watch the show, and he walked by during one of Dana's confessionals and said "Wow, is that scripted or what? Are they holding cue cards in front of her?"
Tiffani and Kimmie good riddance. Neither one of them could run a kitchen as far as I'm concerned. I agree with Rembrandt above, you don't get to choose who your brigade is, and you have to be able to work with anyone. Those two are way too immature for that job. Robyn is so tightly wound that I wouldn't want to be anywhere close when she finally blows.
I never see the potential in chefs on this show like we used to. Gone are the days when we had people like Roc, Michael Wray, Heather, even Christina... Now I can't imagine these foul-mouthed punks cooking in a five star restaurant. The show has turned into drama for drama's sake. If I want to watch 'real' chefs with potential, I'll stick with Top Chef.
That being said I think Barbie has the most potential this season. She IS a team player when they let her be a team player. She doesn't get stressed easily, she's always there for the handoff if needed, and she can cook. I'd like to see her pull this off!
