The winner doesn't even get a guarantee they'll even be allowed to cook. Why would they give them design control?

Robert is having chest pains. Gee... at over 400 pounds (per his Fox bio)... is he THAT surprised? He claims to the camera he's never had them before. To which I say... uh... right, Robert. Gotcha.
