Hmm. Given that in the real world you'd fire someone on the spot for doing what Roseanne did with those tickets, I wonder how badly someone would have to cook to go.

Actually, in the real world you'd probably fire someone on the spot for 3/4 of what we're seeing.

That long shot of the diners looking into the kitchen while Ramsay screams "shut it down" is probably the most explanatory camera shot they've ever had on this show. I mean it makes it OBVIOUS that for these folks its about coming to watch Ramsay scream his head off more than them actually getting a free meal.

I mean we've always know this, but the camera shot was just such a... tableau. Laying it all out.

I've had that happen to me. I've fired servers for that. If you need a weed whacker, get one but holding checks is only going to get you deeper in the weeds.
