5/14 Season Finale Show Discussion **Spoilers**

I'm glad Danny won, only because Paula is kind of blah. Neither my daughter or I could remember who won last year even after they showed her picture and showed her at the after party. Neither one of us had any memory of her! (We did, however, remember nasty Petrozzi). I think Ramsey will help Paula out somehow... recommend her to someone, help her get started somewhere. Do we know what all those past winners are doing now?

Hah! That was exactly my reaction. When I saw her, I didn't remember her at all (I remembered all of the earlier winners) and figured I must not have watched last season for some reason. But then when they showed who she was up against, I vividly remember Petrozza).

I remembered Christina, but I remember all of them save season 1 (because I didn't watch it). So far, unlike most other reality shows, I've actually agreed with the winner selected, even if the were not my favorite overall.

I'm glad Danny won. I agree with the person who said that Paula will do well anyway, but that Danny needed the win.

The part I thought was hilarious was when Ben said, "Velvet Hammer? Sounds like a porn movie."

I expected Lacey to act like a turd. Why change now? But I was disappointed in Gio. He's old enough to know better. Sour grapes I suppose.

Paula really is a class act. Maybe she saw how much damage Julia did to herself a couple seasons ago.

Danny, only 23, jumping around like a little monkey, the hair of a rebellious teenager. He's a good cook, so I hope the others in the restaurant are able to respect him. I thought for that alone that GR would go with Paula. We may yet learn (as usual) that the offer turns out to be a little different than as advertised.

I'm only disappointed we couldn't see how far Ji could go.

I wonder how long Danny's been with the girlfriend. He seemed to always go to the Dad and she seemed to always have a snarl on her face. Just reread his bio and he is a self-proclaimed ladies' man! Also, I was touched by his wishing his mom could have been here for his win. I wanted to give him a motherly cuddle.

Me too Gutmutter! I think he'd make a great little pet.

She is very lazy imo.

Lacey, Ben, Andrea, Gio, these 4 are horrible, their attitudes, cooking skills. Ben is a little better but not by much.

Lacey had the absolute worst attitude. Gio wasn't much better. I thought, for the most part, that Andrea's attitude was good - except for all that bickering with Carol. Andrea's cooking skills were inconsistent - frequently bad - but she had a few shining moments. I thought Ben had a good attitude. He was a gracious loser and came back ready to win for Danny. Ben had plenty of screw-ups in the kitchen, but also won one food challenge.

Pshaw, Ben was all about Ben, even in the end. All I got from him was: Ben had to help Danny win.... Danny wouldnt win if not for Ben.. this was all on Ben's shoulders... Ben Ben Ben.. yeah not impressed by his ONE win. He had far more screw ups than he did shining moments.
