Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** I enjoyed the season finale! Congrats Christina! Are there any Canadians here? Apparently we are getting more Hell's Kitchen next week! A Uk version with one of Gordon's mentors. Anyone know about this?

Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** Christina gets the prize! I think Ramsay made the right choice even though I liked Petrozza very much. Petrozza didn't like dealing with details, and that's a bad thing. Matt is a psycho who does not belong around the public. Jen? I'd like to buy her for what she's worth and sell her for what she THINKS she's worth. See you all next season!!

| Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** Well, I'm disappointed. This is the first time since the first season that I actually gave a rat's patootie who won, and he didn't win. I love Petrozza and I want the recipe for his dessert - it sounds amazing.

Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** Sorry! Wrong choice. Up until the final service it was a toss up, but that last service was all Petrozza. He had the better menu, he controlled his product better, ran his kitchen better, and put out the better product. Now, admittedly, almost all of that was affected by the editing so we'll never know the truth about the actual service. But, the menu was the menu, and there's no doubt, Petrozza had a menu far more consistent with Gordon Ramsey's menus than did Christina. Oh well! Doesn't affect me. I would never eat in a restaurant where the kitchen staff played with the food as much as Ramsey's staff. ![]()

Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** I like Petrozza and I wouldn't have been unhappy if he won. But I would have picked Christina for the same reason Ramsey did -- potential. In the weekly competitions, Christina made wonderful dishes that Ramsey approved of. As to the menus, for the competition, I think it was smart to choose a simple menu that your staff could handle. Semi-OT: I'll never understand why contestants on job-related shows (like HK and The Apprentice) don't do their best when they come back to help the finalists. They have a chance to impress a national prime time audience with their attitudes and abilities. I hope Jen got that letter of recommendation from Ramsey because I can't imagine anyone hiring her who saw her whining, moping, and mouthiness.

Re: 7/08 Season Finale Discussion Thread ***SPOILERS*** Wow I can cross that Restaurant off my list of must eat at. A barely competent and craptastic cook. I hope next season they find someone who actually knows how to create and cook like a top chef
