she had Gordon's favorite signature dish (not that much of a competition), but she totally faltered in leading her team. A quiet one I guess.

Last week, Gordon said she had one more chance to prove herself. Do you think he'll stand by his word, or cut her some slack because of her hand?

Judging by the previews I don't see him cutting her much, if any, slack. In fact I see him trying to get her to go on her own accord. Well according to the previews. I hope they're misleading though.

I've been kind of ho-hum about her this season, but I do feel sorry for her now. Burns really hurt. Especially hot oil burns. I'm surprised she wasn't made to drop out, or at least encouraged to. There is always such a risk of infection with burns, I wouldn't think it would be good for either her or the restaurant to have her working with food.

Not sure that the whole "quitting" thing wasn't in part staged....if she needed reconstructive surgery for the hand...she couldnt cook for months.....Odd that they let an anxiety attack pass for a health reason to quit and 3rd degree burns seem like the chef is faking

I don't know how long the other girls would've put up with Vanessa if she had decided to stay. Jen would probably be like "I call her Barbie, 'cause I once had a Barbie doll, and it was missing a arm."
