Thanks Jexter. I did find the show on the NBC site and watched it. Have to say I was soooooo disappointed with the Coote's behavior. I agree that kids will be kids...but for goodness sakes they had won everything up to that point, could they not be OK with someone else winning one thing. I can understand that they were upset, but they should have been better sports. Don't think that the Mom was that good of a sport either. Also did NOT like how the little boy was screeming out the window of the limo taunting everyone. But....I am hoping that NBC gave them a bad edit and that they did end up going to the suite for part of the evening and perhaps it was not shown. I had said it before that I think that the real gain is the trip and the time with your family and the other families. This is what the Cootes are missing....the BIGGER picture.Originally Posted by Jexter;3656583;
They didn't show it where I live either. Instead we got an hour of infomercials! Don't know why, but I had to watch online.Originally Posted by CheerMeUp;3655706;
Hey Ya'll! How are ya? It's Amie Pollard from GART...I wanted to let you know that we truely appreciate the kind words that you have spoken about our family. By no means are we perfect....we definitely have our moments but we do try to do the right thing. We have really tried to instill in our children that winning is easy sometimes....it's the losing and doing the right thing that makes you the bigger winner. Trust me, when I say....it was really hard having to hold back anger and frustration during the show when we lost a challenge but, it was more important to set an example for not only my family but for others. I am one of the most competitive people you might ever meet and I can't stand to lose....sometimes LIFE teaches us important lessons even as adults. So thankyou.....I feel our family wins everytime we get a e;mail from a mom with a 7yr. old that says..."mom they showed good spirit"...hey....we couldn't ask for anything more than making a good impression on a yound child. Thanks again for watching!
