Last night's show, 2/4, What happened?

I know they showed previous shows. Was anyone eliminated?

No, it was purely re-runs. I think it was a rather brillant move on NBC's part. The target audience for this show is also one that would be less likely to watch the Super Bowl. So why not give an audience who may watch something else on a normal Sunday a chance to sample and get hooked on this show instead? It was MUCH smarter than ABC's stupid idea of showing Old School -- as if the target demo of that movie is not the most die-hard Super Bowl fans!

This show doesn't have the momentum to have taken a week off for reruns. Not a smart move, IMO. I wonder if this weill be the death-knell, or whether they have to keep it going through the bitter end because of the Broadway commitments.

Super Bowl Sunday, I don't think that other networks have any choice. They know where the viewers will be, so every other network just raises the white flag.

Oh, that's right. I forgot about that. But wasn't the game over by 8:00? (I didn't have the TV on that day, so I'm not sure.)

Well for the Chicago Bears the game was over at the start of the 2nd half ... but no, kickoff wasn't until almost 6 pm Central.

I'm on the West Coast, so I tend to forget about these live sporting events vs. primetime TV duels.
