Aside from Austin's love affair with the cameras, he comes across as very professional, and he should, because he's got the experience. I'm sure he'd do a great job, but the way I see it, it would be the difference between getting a good actor vs. the ideal actor for this part. I bet he's got a great future ahead of him (whatever that may be), and it's just a matter of finding the right fit. Oh, I know -- maybe a variety show with no less than eight cameras focused on him at any one time.![]()

Not for nothing, but that's how most male musical theater leads come across to me--regardless of their sexual orientation--simply because they are dancing and singing. It really doesn't bother me at all. It's interesting to see that the 10 people who watch this show (apparently all from the FoRT) all hate Austin 'cause he's too effiminate (I don't think he is, by the way, but I'm in the minority). If that's an indication of the people who will vote, then it's probably "bye bye" time for Austin. Which is too bad, 'cause I think he'd be the best on Broadway. But any of them would be fine -- Even if they all have varying degrees of swishiness.
