What do you look forward to most on weekends?

Okay, so you're sitting in your cubicle farm on Tuesday morning...waiting for the weekend to finally arrive.

What's the highlight of your normal weekend? Something you get to do that you don't during the week, that you look forward to the most?

Is it getting up late? Having a big, slow breakfast? Going out for brunch with te family? Catching up on cartoons on Saturday morning?

    ?

I am definitely a night-owl in morning-bird clothing, so I look forward to staying up late reading, sometimes till 5 or 6 AM. Sucks rocks when Monday morning rolls around and I have to get up at 4:30 but I love staying up late.

I also look forward to having no schedule whatsoever. Sometimes a good plan will just hit me in the middle of the day and I'll do it, like go to Montana for the weekend, or take a drive into the mountains and hike. Or sit outside and read allllllllll day long with a bottle of wine.

I look foward to every weekend to spend the whole day with my husband and daughter as a family! Takes a little work off of me from always chasing her around.

I look forward to the family time too.
Of Course it feels like it has rained every weekend since march... before that it snowed every weekend

We usually spend time outside working on the yard etc.

One of the kids usually has a soccer game or soccer parctice, but the season is about over now.

The high school coach will be at the field every Sunday evening for whoever wants to show up though, that's cool, as it means I get to play

Ideally, relaxing with a good book (of course I do that every chance I get), although I work Saturdays from 7am-7pm. My Sundays are all mine, though!

Spending time with my husband. He works 2nd shift, so I never get to sit down with him during the evenings. Normally we'll rent a movie or two and I fix a nice supper for us. On Sunday we watch the race together, and then go outside and do some work in the yard. It makes for a nice weekend.

I'm like GrammarGoddess, I'm an extremely late night person who loves to read, read, read.

I look forward to staying up late (I do that anyways) and then sleeping in really late. I do absolutely all my errands during the week so that I don't have to do anything chore-like at all on the weekends.

I can lay around and do nothing, surf the web, and then I usually hang out with friends on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and I love it. I look forward to talking with people, trying new places for dinner, or going to someone's house, or out dancing or what not. And I love game parties, as in Pictionary, Taboo, charades, yada yada.

Oh, and I like going for drives with people, i.e. around the city or lakes or wherever, just aimlessly wandering and chatting and listening to music.

    And I take frequent naps.

Favorite time of the weekend? Friday night at 6; it's the longest possible time before more work.

    NASCAR ..... enough said.....

I spent too much time repairing the place at work that it's the last thing I really want to do at home. Plus the yard work. going to buy sheep and take care of the lawn that way

Well, I have to say the highlight of my weekend is husband fixing breakfast both days. And I must brag that much, that he is really good at it, proof being my sister used to visit us regularly sunday mornings back when we lived closeby.
