"I can hear the silence. Of what we used to be. And I can see the sign. of what you want to be."
Staying up late the night before and enjoying a big breakfast on Saturday.
Reading a good book, spending time on the computer, and grilling outdoors on the weekend...![]()
"At the beach, life is different. Time doesn't move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the currents, plan by the tides, and follow the sun." - anonymous
Sleeping in.

Maybe we should chug on over to namby pamby land where we can find some self confidence for you, you jackwagon!
It used to be sleeping in, but now I have chronic hip pain, and if I'm lying down more than about 6 hours it's unbearable, so often I'm up pacing before 6am trying to shake it out. That wasn't supposed to happen while I was still in my 30's.
Now I guess it would be not having to rush to make dinner, since during the week I'm often home at 5 and have to rush out by 5:30 or 6 - trying to make and serve dinner is pretty stressful, because I refuse to do fast food or mac & cheese type meals.
It's the more relaxed schudule. I still work on the weekends but shorter hours and less then during the week. I get to take my time cooking supper, I get to see the kids more and I get to do more things at home.
I could go east, I could go west, it was all up to me to decide. Just then I saw a young hawk flyin' and my soul began to rise. ~Bob Seger
On weekends i spend time with my husband, sleep in & read the sunday paper leisurely in bed.
