Re: AMAZON PRIME DAY ~ JULY 12th

Shoot. I didn't realize this thread was started last year and was so excited to see a post from Debb. But it was last year's posts from her.

I didn't pay any attention to the sale today because I don't need anything.

Sorry, Punkin, that post was from last summer - July, 2016.

Re: AMAZON PRIME DAY ~ JULY 11th

I just got the steel one. No color. I figured it would look nicer longer if there wasn't a colored coating on it for me to scratch! I dropped my old ones more than a few times (hence: broken), so I wanted one that would last longer and look nicer while doing it.

I've been tempted by those travel mugs that also have a tea infuser in them, but the ones I've found are really pricey OR plastic.

I looked around for other Prime deals, but there wasn't anything that was AMAZING, aside from the little rain jacket I got for $35. I may look for running shoes again, but I think I missed out on the only ones that would fit me that I liked. SO many running shoes are just hideous. I don't need solid white ones, but JEEZ, I also don't want pink and purple and orange and stripes and camouflage all at once

    Critical, OMG.
I just read your thoughts on colors and I CANCELLED my order. (Never done that before with AP).

The mug had not shipped yet and changed to SS. YUP. AND it was cheaper than the ORCHID one.....go figure.

AND I will have it FRIDAY!

Yes, when I went back to the description it does state from CONTIGO that Stainless Steel is TOP shelf DW safe.

The colored ones are HAND WASH only.

Not that I will use the DW at all for the mug ... but I am not going to worry about scratching/chipping of paint.

You can never have enough glue sticks!!

The cart is super cute, but is still pricey when I just checked it. Hope you got it for a steal!

I haven't found anything this year to buy. Oh well.... Less to put away/find places for!

I saw that review too about the colored ones vs. the steel. I don't even have a dishwasher, but I figured I wouldn't take any chances. I like to think I take care of things, but I'm also a bit klutzy, so things DO get dropped. Plus, I keep things for a long time, so the more durable, the better. I hope we both end up happy with our mugs!

So agree with the glue sticks. I can get lots of Elmer glue on site; but my students don't like it and neither do I.

As for the cart; there was a deal - I've been eyeing another one for a while; but this actually had more storage.

The small drawers will be for student group work and the big tubs will be for my aides, my student teacher and I.
