    Ya, no kidding.

Funny, thing.. today the doc we went to (which BTW, I am switching us to) had this intern.. I still can't get over the look on the intern's face when he heard an X-ray had not been taken. funny now.

We had the exact same experience! We switched doctors right after that and our new doctor was completely shocked by what we'd been through.

You don't by any chance live in Phoenix?

We should have a "doctors to avoid" thread.

Glad to hear she is on the right medicine now, she will start feeling better in a few days (but it may take a week or longer before she feels 100%) As for Dr's and Xrays, some times even when they take an Xray you don't get a clear result, had to take my daughter in twice for Xrays one year, for some reason she sounded awful, the Dr was postive she had pneamona but it just didn't show up.

Doctors are like mechanics..you find a good one and you stick with him/her. I had some medical problems at the first of the year that should have been detected earlier that ended up costing me a couple of more months of discomfort etc. Glad to see the young one is headed in the right direction!

    , nope not Arizona, Canada.

And I think nearly everyone has had a "bad doctor" story.. I agree with the mechanic/doc analysis.. good one.

She had a fairly good night.. I think she is finally getting better. Good thing, cause she wanted no part of being admitted to the hospital! :O
