Happy Birthday Gustav!!!!!

Possoms don't carry rabies. Something about their body temperature keeps the virus from surviving in them.

Buglover, maybe she's just got some spring fever.

Some dog in this house is exceedingly stinky. They all just had baths about a week ago. But as all three are ganged up next to me, I don't know which one is the source of the stink.

I'm sick, home alone and am not in the mood to give a bath, especially to Waldo who needs an army to hold him down for one.

Awww mrd, vick's vapor rub under the nose helps mask that smell!

I think Princess is stressed out. We had a plumber come in because mr buglover could not fix the leaky faucet so she may be irritated that someone was in the house. Last night my neighbors had a fight and threw something at the wall which could have freaked her out too. I gave her some tuna fish and she seems a bit more content. She just won't lay down like she usually does. I'm keeping my eye on her for now.

I completely understand that one! Miss Princess just jumped in my lap and breathed on me with her tuna breath!! She doesn't smell but her breath sure does!

We've been leaving the back door open for fresh air and I've had it up to here with these animals. In the past week they've brought in:

1) A headless rabbit
2) a schrew
3) A live bird, with a broken wing
4) another schrew
and today
5) a baby rabbit which died on my floor.

So the door is getting shut, A/C is going on and I'm thinking of getting rid of the cat, Herman. I know he is the culprit! My Harmony would never hunt animals...even though she was the one I caught licking the headless rabbit....

Well, now it's warm enough to take him outside and tie him to a tree for one--get busy!

I didnt' post about Trouble to upset anyone, but to show how amazing animals can be when harmed so cruelly. We are all very happy to know that Trouble will not only survive but will hopefully live a long and happy life with his family! And I think it's a great idea to rename him Lucky!

A ring-tailed lemur at our Valley Zoo just had a baby and it is doing very well. It is the first one they have born in captivity and everyone is extremely excited. They don't know yet if the baby is a male or female and there will certainly be a contest to name the little one. How about Ringo?

I didn't know that lemurs have pouches like kangaroos. Can you see him hiding there?

Yikes! I could not handle that. Are you sure it's one of your kittys? I thought it would be pretty hard to catch a rabbit!
