Little Lexi scared the dickens out of me last night. I closed up the house, locked the doors and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth and she was sleeping in the sink in the dark and surprised the heck out of me. She did this exact thing to my Dad when he was kitty-sitting a few weeks ago.

I just had to laugh though. A white kitty in a white sinky isn't too easy to spot until she moves!

My gurls have taken to loving having me tug on their ears! I get the loudest purring and they totally relax. Miss Celie likes for me to tug on both of hers like I'm milking a cow! I get the biggest giggle out of grabbing one of their ears with my lips and trying to hold onto it when we're laying around together! Ah yes....the joy of kitties!

prhoshay, , my kitties love sort of the same thing--I put my thumb inside the ear (just the 'flap', not the ear canal!) and my index on the outside, and rub/massage away; I get lots of loud puring as a reward.

Henry LOVES having his ears scratched too. He grunts and growls and sounds almost like a purring cat. Animals are so funny! I don't want anyone scratching MY ears!

A few mornings ago, I was dreaming/thinking that something was brushing my face and chin. When I woke up, I discovered (EWW!) that Henry's tail was ON my lips. Thankfully, my mouth was not open while I was asleep. Henry had gone head first under the covers and the least pleasant end of him didn't make it under there as well!

Well, Henry is kind of long--maybe he thought he was all the way under!

I had to laugh at Doxie as Bogie doesn't always get all of himself under the covers either and I'm always left staring at the wrong end. But at least I haven't had his tail fanning my face yet.
