Thank you Skwerl! Actually the picture is our dog Marley who we lost to cancer last year. If I can figure out how to attach a picture I will post one of Katie... she's very pretty too!

Catt, Nicki is doing much better than she was 3 weeks ago. She is on medication to repair her liver and she is on two types of medicines for her seizures. They are going to wean her off her phenobarb, since it has done the damage to her liver. She has an appointment for bloodwork on January 11th. We will know more then and hopefully she will be progressing better then. Thanks for asking. I will keep you posted when I find out more on her.

Thanks so much, it was pretty hard but we're ok now.. we still miss her terribly though. She was only 2 when she died and we had adopted her from the Humane Society just 8 months before that.. and a month before we got Marley our first golden retriever was hit by a car and killed. It was a pretty sucky dog year, but now we have Katie and our silky terrier Dolly, and life is just grand!

My golden, Katie, sleeps like that too! It's a hoot.. she lays on her back with her hind legs spread like a slut and her front legs stuck straight up in the air. Her head hangs over the edge of the couch upside down so her dog-lips flop over and you can see her teeth. She looks ridiculous but so funny!
