Unklescott That was a good idea, making sure they were the right people by waiting to see if they would mention he was deaf. I knew I had the real owner on the phone when he mentioned the big red/orange spot on the side of his face. And if that wasn't proof enough, you should have seen how excited Elvis got when he saw his owner's car.

Misskitty I can't believe how much snow you have this late in April. Good thing the cats seem to enjoy it.

I was just at the library and saw a woman walking 2 schnauzers and thought of Unk's story.

There is a special place in heaven for those that help animals and Unk and BT, you have a spot reserved.

I've a new nickname for Miss Chloe. Crab Salad. I've never seen such carrying on when it's time to clip the claws!

Currently, she's sitting in the kitchen, trying to "hatch" a box.

You would have loved it here. Well not Joey so much, he just lays there looking at me with this "wounded" expression when I clip his claws. But oh, my dear departed Miss Mona, would lay or sit there with the LOOK on her face all while she was growling..... Nothing like a cat growling to set a humans hair on edge....

The boys have some nice spats from time to time and it scares me that they are really going to hurt each other. It's not like one is constantly picking on the other. They take turns being the aggressor.

It is kind of funny to watch little ol' Laurel run the big ox Hardy down and tackle him with the jump on the back and the grab of the scruff of the neck.

I used to sit so still and really suppress my laughter when little 9 pound Mona used take down tall, big 16 pound Joey.
