Well I am not the only creature in this house missing the hubby. The windows are open as its very nice weather and the dogs RUN barking and wagging tails to the windows every time they hear a car, only to come back to me all sad and dejected with tails down. I must not be as fun as he is as they don't do that when I'm gone.

MRD you don't know that they don't do it when you're gone.........because you're gone! They might miss you if you are gone for longer than you normally are during the day. You would be surprised! They love you too!

As for diet I am sure it will have to be soft food for a couple days, I'll keep you posted.

As for Daddy, the apartment just feels really different right now, as the last time he was away for a few days seven years ago, Mona was here. This is the first time in 15 years there is NO cat whatsoever in the apartment, well no living cat.

I've found that with even one of my gurls missing (to the vet or groomer or lost

) there is just something wrong. The energy balance is all off.

By the way, my gurl (Miss Celie, the stalker kitty) who got lost for the 48 hours, remember I said I hadn't bonded with her? Things have totally changed! We've definitely bonded, and I am loving it. She seems to stalk less, too. She's calmer and less demanding, but we snuggle more. She still makes my nose cut up, though.

Oh, poor Joey and the tooth extraction. At least it was caught before it caused any serious trouble. Bad teeth can cause all manner of problems in our furry friends.
