My poodle seems to be doing a little better today. She is eating and is able to walk better with more balance. I am hoping that she will pull out of this enough to where we can get her medicines to correct the liver problems.

Keep us in your prayers and I will keep you guys posted as I know more about her health. Big hugs to all of you. Its nice to know that you got some place to let out your worries with good friends to support you here on the FORT.

Aw rats, canadian_bunny, I am so, so sorry to read about your baby's health troubles. I've not been in this thread for a while, until just now, and my heart's breaking for you up there.

These guys here are wonderfully supportive and I'm sure nobody minds at all that you speak of your poor girl's health troubles.

I will surely be keeping the two of you in my prayers and I will be looking forward to hearing how she progresses in the near future.

Her name is Nicki.. She always has her tongue out and I been tempted to call her Licky instead of Nicki Here is a pic of her.. I posted it earlier, but you may have missed it. She's still lying around today and cant jump up on the couch, without assistance. I fed her a bite of egg this morning for breakfast.

Finally the 8 weeks have passed and Gutmutter's kittens are ready to be adopted!

My neighbor (Joe) and I are heading out for a drive in about 45 minutes so we can meet Gutmutter and Joe can adopt two of the kitties.

Joe is one of my dearest friends and he's a wonderful animal guy (he and my avatar were extremely close!). Joe lost his 19 year old cat the same week that I lost my avatar. Joe's old cat had been adopted, as a kitten, along with his sister. For years Joe had the two cats and he was just crushed when the old guy finally passed away.

And now, thanks to this thread and thanks to the kindness of our pal Gutmutter, Joe will soon have company for many years to come!

Thanks, Gut, I can't wait to meet you, and I'll post photos of the little ones just as soon as possible!
