I have to go through this whole thread when I'm not having ADD.

I have a gorgeous persian (no picture on this computer) she is my daughter's cat and my daughter was away from home too much so she left her with me about 3 weeks ago. I don't know how I'm going to give her back!!

I always fall in love with other people's animals...

I had her groomed and they shaved her whole body. She looks strange but, I'm in love with her.

I think my daughter may have a problem getting her back from me!

I'm really seriously thinking about adopting a dog (again)

I had a sad situation with a dog several years ago and have been nervous about the idea.

I'll see.

Great pictures on here! Lucky animals to have such devoted "parents"

Congrats on the new kitty, even if it is your daughter's, its living in YOUR house now.

Am I am somewhat biased here, but dogs are just so wonderful. Mine bring me such joy, such unconditional love, they stay in bed with me when I'm sick, they sit next to me when I watch tv, they yak on the carpet, what more could you want?

Rosie, my kitties do all the above, except they don't yak on the carpet-- or have to be bathed!

I really would love to have a kitty. But my allergies prevent it. The more I see and read about everyone's kitties here, the more I want one. I will just have to enjoy them from afar on this thread though.

Oh, I'd like to have a dog too, but that will have to wait until I retire and can spend more time with it, especially since I work at night. The kitties are generally pretty quiet and willing to sleep during the daytime, like me.
