I think that Gustav and I give a strong argument against the adage that people and their pets look alike.

I changed my hair color so Waldo and I no longer look alike. He's still blonde though.

Well I figured out Princess is just trying to punish me for being away all day and then coming home and going to bed. I put new food in her bowl this afternoon and she walked over to it, sniffed it and went back to her bed. She's being a little spoiled because my son is at his father's house this weekend and she feels abandoned. Kids and pets......exactly!

misskitty, that little white demon of yours is just to die for!! Poooor Mr. Tootles! The look on his face while she's messing with his tail is priceless!! Maybe you need to remind him and Gracie that they, too, were babies once upon a time! Bless their hearts, I know they are doing the best that they can.

Gail wasn't very tolerant of Sashay when we first brought her home, and all Sashay wanted was to share a little love with her. Gail looked a lot like Mr. Tootles, and Sashay was completely mesmerized by that huge, moving tail! Her eyes would get absolutely huge when that thing swished around!!

If you say so, it MUST be true!

I don't agree. You both have nice "fur" and great eyes.

buglover: Princess appears to be a very sensitive little girl.

prhoshay: Things were going well today, until Mr. Tootles had enough; he couldn't get his private drinky from the sinky, couldn't get to his litter box without Lexi following, and finally, wouldn't let him sleep. He tried to bite her. Well, nip is probably the better word for it. I had to scold him with a big NO, and take Lexi to her den. I felt so bad because I had to scold him. He put his head down and looked very, very, forlorn.

And meanwhile, little Lexi was mewing from the den wondering why she got shut out. I need to get Gracie upstairs tonight. It's freakin' cold in the basement.

I would have to agree! Gustav is a damn good looking dog.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

    Re: For animal lovers

Misskitty, maybe you should let Tootles give Lexi just a little nip, so she can learn to stop tormenting him. I know the mom-cats do it. Do you think maybe those kittens didn't get enough Mom time, so she might not have any idea when to stop playing? It is sad for them all to get so upset, isn't it?

Like I'm having any better luck with my cat wars. This is the latest step, recommended by the vet, so Rocky can get used to BooBoo without them being able to actually make contact. This is about the only time he has really paid any attention to her sitting in the pen, though. Usually he just avoids even coming in the room with the cage.

I was also told that with two cats this old, it could take quite a long time for them to ever tolerate each other enough to not be separated by something, and I might never be able to leave them out together unsupervised. I did think about calling BooBoo's old mommy to come get her, but I guess having your own room with daily attention is better than being closed up in a cold garage and mostly ignored.
I have found the Truth and it doesn't make sense.

There's something going on between Whiskers and Dunkin. I caught Dunkin several times over the weekend sleeping in Whiskers' spot. I don't think Whiskers caught him, because Dunkin is still alive. I'll keep you all posted on future developments!
