Great pics guys. Right now I am in mourning...I lost my "baby" yesterday. She was a precious black and white kitty that I had for 13 years. I got her when I was 18 and she was there for me through a lot of tough times. She was often my best friend and my greatest source of comfort. She always insisted on being in my lap when I was upset. I'm going to miss her so much.

Everybody give your pets a big hug for me.

I'm so sorry scarlett. It is so hard to lose a pet, especially one that you have had for such a long time. I understand about her being your best friend...mine have gotten me through some tough times recently. Animals love us unconditionally and become part of the family. My thoughts are with you.

This probably should be in the "Am I qualified to own a cat thread", but I just rescued a 1 year old persian....he's very friendly and inquisitive but wasn't enjoying his previous home that was run by rotweillers! I brought him home last night and found out from his previous owner that he's never been properly named! I'm terrible at coming up with creative and fitting names and I figured everyone here was more qualified than I am! So, picture bright blue eyes instead of the scary red ones and think of a name for my new addition!! Thanks for your help!

Everyone has awesome pets. Shyra the puppies are so cute, and scarlett I am sorry for your loss. My mom has had a chihuahah for over 11 years now. I think it is going to die soon, amd I just know my mom will flip out.

Spoose, my immediate thought was of royalty as well, only I was going with Queen or Cleopatra, and then I read Burntcrow's post with the male names. I missed the pronoun "he" in your post.
