Well I am not enjoying the day after Christmas. Waldo ate something that is now coming back to haunt us and now has a "social problem". He has cleared the room several times.

    Nothing worse in my opinion.

One of the great blessings in my life is that I have almost no sense of smell.

You and my husband. I swear you two have to be twins. Way too much alike that it's getting scary.

He can't smell anything, so I'm left to "enjoy" it. UGH!

I keep taking them outside too, hoping that it will help. Hasn't.

Your pictures are adorable, mrd! You don't spoil your babies much, do you??

"Oliver"!!?? Strange, he doesn't look anything like my grandfather, except that grandpa was cute, too! (his name was Oliver, too!)

Spoiled? Nah, they just have ME trained.

Hey, they treat me better than the humans who live here, so I will spoil them to ensure I remain their favorite.

I used to have a cat named Oliver. About 35 years ago.

gabriel: Awww. I just love that photo of Joey in the paper! That could be your new av! So nice you received surprise gifties!

mrd: Great photos! You puppies sure enjoyed the holidays! Your daughter's little bunny is just precious. I hope TDR is not too scared of the puppies.

Unklescott: What a nice story and photos of your Cinnamon and bunnies! :rabbit

    doxie: Such a funny story!

Uncle David: What was your girls favorite thing from Santa?

queenb: That looks like one happy, tired, kitty! I hope that Boo Boo and Rocky can get along better this year.

    ------

Gracie and Mr. Tootles had a very nice Christmas. Santa was very good to both of them, and they were just tuckered out all day today.

I'll have to tell you about the appearance of another "Monster" in the house Christmas morning. Poor little kitties.

I had to take Jaxi (our new female boxer) to the vet today. She's had the sniffles, and runny nose all week and just started with very labored breathing. She also has been drinking lots of water. The vet said it was an upper respiratory infection and gave her antibiotics and cough meds. It's tough to hear her breathing through her stuffy nose - she also looks so sleepy, tired, and lethargic. My poor baby. - hoping she is better soon. I'm sure the other dogs will probably be getting it too - the vet said it depends. Since they are all up to date on shots and healthy, and well nourished, they may not get it. She was susceptible since she was at the shelter for a few days and then at the boxer rescue so she could have picked up anything. Poor little thing.

    Re: For animal lovers

We've had Bunny anatomy 101 today.

The pet store says the Bunny was a boy. My daughter thinks it is a girl. We looked up anatomy photos on the internet and then tried to examine the bunny. I'm not sure it's either one now.

So we "think" it might be a girl. It is REALLY hard to tell, even the photos were kind of inconclusive to me.

Anyway, instead of Oliver, it is now Luna (as in Lovegood from Harry Potter).

So who knows. As long as we only have one bunny and it doesn't go outside the house to find other bunnies, I dont' guess it really matters.

On another note (no pun intended ) Each dog got a stuffed dog toy in their stocking. Waldo got a red "Eddie Van Halen" guitar and he's carried it around by the neck all day. He wouldn't touch it until today. I don't know why. He played with the other 2 dog's toys until today when he finally took to the guitar.

The girls are spoiled rotten all year long. Hence, this house is littered with toys. So, on Christmas morning they get the four toys unique to the season. Crinkly wrapping paper, ribbon, boxes and tissue paper balls.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
