Ours think ANYTHING that is in a pouch is a treat. I recently had some almonds in a pouch and they all kept staring at me every time I "rattled" the pouch getting almonds. Their treats come in a pouch, so therefore everything in a pouch is for them.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.
She's adorable Uncle David!![]()

So this is the kitten to replace the girls you originally took in for your mom that now have established residency at your house with no chance of relocation, right?![]()

Koji has a really weird habit, and I am hoping someone here has had a cat that does/did this. Every night, he wakes me (not m SO, just me) and lies on my chest for several minutes, purring, licking and rubbing against my chin.
It's so sweet, I hate to stop him, but its affecting my sleep as he does three or four times a night. He also does it again once the alarm goes off, after I hit snooze. If I am not on my back, he will paw at my head and shoulders until I roll over.
I had to laugh, one night last week he did not wake me up, because he had locked himself in the powder room.
Any cat phsycologists care to hazard a guess on why he does this, and how to stop it ?

D.Bo is our chewer - anything and everything. He stays away from the furniture and I just found a toy at Petsmart that he loves! It's not a hollow sphere but with straight sides - Ok - that doesn't sound like it makes sense. Here is a picture.
This is similar but ours isn't so round and it only has 4 openings that sort of criss cross each other. D.Bo spends hours chewing on it!
Buddy has begun pooping in the house. He did it yesterday morning, at noon, and this morning. Today at noon, nothing. I "made" him go pee, and poop outside during lunch. Just kept coaxing him to go and he finally did. Hope it was just a bug or something that didnt' agree with him because it's no fun to clean up poop from carpet!!!
You nailed it buddy.Originally Posted by Unklescott;2559817;
I moved mom into a home about a month ago. It was a rough week. On Sunday I had to tell her it was time to put her cat down. She was in renal failure and we couldn't wait another day. Then, three days later I had to tell mom she could no longer live alone. She needed to move into an assisted living home. In less than a week I was forced to kill her cat, AND crush her spirit. It was one of the worst weeks of my life.
Then, after little more than a week in the 'home' she was almost convinced she wanted to say permanently. (I'd told her it was only temporary. Just until she could get back to fending for herself.) As she delivered that good news, she smartly asked me for 'one' thing. She wanted a Siamese kitten.
I told her she couldn't have a Siamese because there's no way I wanted to inherit a Siamese cat. (they scream too much for my taste) However, I told her she could get a kitten of a different breed. She informed me it had to be a white cat. I told her we'd start going to PetSmart to look for adoptable cats on the weekends. She was tired so we'd do it the following weekend.
When I left the home I decided to stop by PetSmart just to ‘look’. Sure enough, here was a little white kitten. I went back to the home, brought my mother to PetSmart and they’ve been together since.
Some things are just meant to be.
Greta doesn’t seem too fond of her now, but hopefully, in a few years when the kitten comes to live with us, she’ll be more tolerant.![]()
