Sorry to hear that Pomeraniac; it's always hard to lose a "family member" like that but is sounds as though both he and you touched each others lives in the short time you were together.

It's never easy to lose an animal friend. They love so unconditonally. Your little friend was a real cutie.

Pomeraniac....that is sad news but a tough decision and I do think you made the right one and let him pass on instead of trying to keep him on this earth longer and in bad health. I have a aussie that has cushings desease and we have her on meds. at $6 a pill.... sh is doing fine and we keep her hair shaved off so she doesn't get so overheated, ( a symptom with cushings along with the hair falling out and weight gain) bless you for the rescue and keep up the tradition there are alot of good animals out there that need a rescue to a good home.

Oh Pom, I wish I could do a "I Dream of Jeanie" blink and make it all better for you.

Photos of My Av & Family

Thanks very much for letting me talk about my poor av's illness lately. I couldn't deal with it if I didn't have you guys to lean on.

I hope you guys don't mind me sharing a couple of photos of my avatar (Casey), his sister (Powder), and even the new dog I may adopt (whom I'll name Tuxedo -- although skunky and Jay Leno-ish names did first cross my mind).

Pom, what adorable pics! That black one you might get looks like a poodled-up skunk. I mean that in the cutest way, too. Maybe you could name him Pepe(Le Pew).
