I had to move the pictures and stuff I had up there because they kept knocking them off. The thing on the far right is my dog Chauncy's ashes. I keep him there because it gets the sun that he used to enjoy so much.

My son does not like any of our pets (he has allergies) but commented that Kimono likes the string end of the mouse on a string toy I made better than the mouse end. Busted! She has charmed even him.

    Re: For animal lovers

Some animals sure have a sixth sense. Two of our kitties went nuts right before our last earthquake. Now we're getting the gusts from the outer edge of the hurricane, and although strong winds are common here on "The Valley Isle," they know something is different. The way they're watching out the window is hyper vigilant.

Also the birds in the aviary are very huddled up in their pairs, even though they're well protected from the wind (if things get worse we'll be moving the aviary into the garage.)

Didn't mean to kill the thread.

Anyway, we're okay, yet again! Since Rainey's passing we've been having one little scare after another. I'm so grateful that we're all safe now.

I hope you and yours are having a good night too. Aloha!

I see on the news Flossie was downgraded to a tropical storm. I'm so glad everything worked out. Hopefully, your little furry (and feathery) friends are back into their normal routine. Extra special hugs for little schmuglump!!

Meerkat Manor, and almost anything on Animal Planet. Sometimes she'll watch a cartoon here and there.

She's silly.....she even fetches a ball of paper.

@ Gabriel ^^^ Ms. Patches would not have any interest in your cat, she has no plumbing.

lei: I'm so very glad you are all safe and happy! WOO HOO!
    hvymetalchick: Hi and Welcome!!
Gut: I've always found that a piece of string, even with a knot in it, beats any toy I can buy for my kitties.
gabriel: I just want to rub Joey's big white tummy!
Unk: That is such a cute photo!

Good Grief.....$299!!!!! I'm not so sure about that one! It's a little creepy looking to me, too. Wonder if the kitties would be a bit intimidated by it? I can just see having to pack it back up if something goes wrong with it.
