Star, I hope you hear some good news tomorrow! I know all too well, as everyone else does too, how the waiting is often worse than the news. At least once you know what you're up against you can make the necessary decisions.

I just love all the pictures of everyone's furry ones. As soon as I get mine groomed and picture presentable I'll post one.

I'm a cat magnet for some reason. All the strays flock to my house and lounge around my yard (and yet the annoying squirrel population hasn't dwindled a bit). Yesterday a new cat showed up on my porch who looks suspiciously like a younger, skinnier version of my own (although mine's been neutered for a year now and this cat doesn't look that old) and acted like he lived here! He was meowing and demanding attention and I was like "where did you come from and why me??" The word on the street must be my house is the place to hang out for a meal and an ear scratching .

Caught 2 of my non-snugglers relaxing about 4 inches from each other yesterday afternoon. Shock! Why do they play these head games with me??

    Re: For animal lovers

So we went away for the long weekend. When we came home Monday, there was Whiskers greeting us at the door (as usual). I called and called and called for Dunkin, but he didn't come and see us. After we unloaded, I walked all over the house looking for him. I even looked in places that I knew he couldn't be (like the basement and the garage). I called my SIL to see if they had stopped by our house (since they have a key) and may have seen him, but no luck. After about a HOUR (I was really starting to panic), he came strolling out of the guest room like he owned the world. I'm guessing he was mad because we went away and left him. He's still not back to normal. Guess that'll teach me!

My boy Bjorn snubs me for a couple of days whenever I go to out-of-town dog shows. Silly critters!

Well, hubby has decided to get a puppy. My boss has 2 labs and they just had puppies on Saturday. They are all chocolate. We will be picking ours in the next week or so. Any name suggestions? We don't know what we want yet, so suggest away for both sexes. Thanks
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either

I suggest you live with the new one for a good week before you name it. After a week of watching Greta and Ella they'd suggested their names to me through their actions.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

tv_luver and PGM35 your babies are just darling

Congratulations, combatcutie! And I agree with Uncle D -- the names will come

Oh and add me and my hubby to the ranks of those who get snubbed when we leave the house. Even for a few extra hours :roll But like ACF, we are "cat magnets" (I love that.)

My grandfather named every dog Brownie.......whether they were brown or not. I never quite understood that.

My grandfather was a different kind of person.
