Wow, Unk, a year? time flies doesn't it. They are too cute. I always come home to mine looking out the window too.
They are saving the neighborhood from the city sewer workers. I will be most glad when this project is done, so the "protecting" the neighborhood can be over.

That story about the little blind kitty has had me sitting here at my computer crying! I sincerely hope they enforce the fact that they have to be adopted together.

Pumpkin was playing with a shopping bag and put his head through one of the handles but couldn't figure out how to get it off. I was a big meanie because I made him leave it on for a minute while I took his picture. The window behind him is bare because he knocked the curtain down while he was trying to get the bag off. :lol

Rosie has made many new friends this week. The city is replacing the sewer lines in our neighborhood and have dug up our street. They've come to the door each morning to ask us to move our cars around the corner (we live on a cul-de-sac) because otherwise we would not be able to get out. Both times, Rosie (the escape artist) has gotten out. Yesterday she didn't go far, but today, she got all the way out to the street and ran from worker to worker wagging tail and greeting them all. I decided to make brownies and take out to them this morning (hoping they will go gentle on my yard) and Rosie went with me (the boys think they have to "protect" us from the evil city workers, so they have to stay inside)and got her share of love from the guys.
This afternoon I took my daughter to work and when I got back, they were finishing up and standing around and as I got out of the car, one of them asked if Rosie could come out and play (yes they even know her name). I thought it was so sweet. So of course, I let her out to greet her new friends. The boys are jealous, but they can't be nice, so they didn't get to go out.
