It's coming up on the boys first birthday. Star said they were born around the end of April. I'll have to take some pictures of them. Here's one I took today with my cellphone when I returned home from my nightly walk. Not the best quality. They sit in the window and wait for me every night.

Hardy is on the left, Laurel on the right.

I need to know the will of the people . . .

I looked out of a second-story window this evening to see a couple of 4'-long bull snakes in the early stages of doing their part to perpetuate the species. I took a bunch of pictures (pervert!

) and I'd like to post them, but not if it's going to give anyone the heebie-jeebies

for the next week. Does ANYONE object? I'll wait until 6PM tomorrow to give everyone a fair chance to see this question . . .

Now back to our regularly scheduled warm-and-fuzzy kitty pictures

4 feet you said? Normally I wouldn't mind, but I have this thing against snakes that are longer than my arm's length. However, if you really want to, I can stay out of here for a while.

I vote for seeing the snakes. I vote for seeing pictures of pretty much any animal/bird/amphibian/repile/arachnid/bug in existence.

Newf - post the snake pictures with a warning! I'm not a snake fan (although I did endure 4 years of working in a place that had a "pet" python).
I flip the channel if snakes appear on my TV.

Rescued Kittens: Thanks to all of you who sent me PMs about our two kitties. They have doubled in size in the past two weeks and will be going to the vet and then to their new foster home on Saturday. We've been in contact with the lady who is going to foster them and also make sure that they are available for adoption at Petco every weekend until they find a new home (they will be with her during the week). We are going to miss them a lot, but we feel that this is the best option for them. We just cannot keep them. We're already dealing with an elderly, deaf, demented dog and, our other dog (Henry) does NOT get along with cats.
