I think I might have told this story here once upon a time, but here goes again. I was out at a park with my roomie, her dog and my dog Chauncy. Chauncy kept trying to poop but was struggling with it. My friend grabbed a newspaper to help him along. She starts yelling "OMG we have to get him to the vet he's full of worms." Turns out it was the net from the pork roast we had for dinner the night before passing through. Mr. Garbage Can Mutt had a tasty little snack from the trash can. He was very lucky the netting didn't get wrapped in his intestinal tract and kill him. Big ol' goofy dog.

Now, "Miss Sit In Front of the Keyboard or Computer Screen" has taken to sitting on the mouse pad. What's a mother to do???

I get Ella her own mice! They're stuffed with Catnip and little balls that jingle, but to her they work just fine.

Have I told you all Ella is a fetch cat? I flick the mice across the room and she fetches them and brings them back. I'm going to try and get video of her fetching this week.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

My eldest gurl likes to fetch and return socks, and then deliver them to the water dish...like Unk's baby! That water dish thing is gross, and blocks out the other kitties. They follow me to the dish, when she has done it (she sure doesn't show up!), and then they sit there and give me the big sad eyes.

Marleybone: Your pups look like they had a great time! Love the soaking Dolly one! What a look indeed!

Leftcoaster: That was a great story!

UncleDavid: I remember Charlie and am so glad to hear he is ok in his new home. He is a handsome little devil, isn't he?

Echo: I hope the vet check goes okey-dokey!

SuperBrat: I just spent $53.00 on a 15lb bag of Royal Canine. They're worth it.

Gutmutter: I'm so sorry to hear of the death of Max, your sister's my sister's Jack Russell Terrier. I'm glad he had a good life and I know you know that your "nephew" is at Rainbow Bridge playing with everyone! My thoughts are with you and your sister's family.

prhoshay: Make sure her new mousepad is heated! .

UncleDavid: Yes, Tootles did the same thing returning fuzzy mice and balls when he was younger. But he's kinda grown out of it. The video is a great idea!

A few weeks ago , we were watching "What Not To Wear" and Henry went INSANE when he heard the theme song. He growled and howled at the television until the song was over. We caught another episode on Tivo and we replay it all the time - Henry goes nuts when he hears the song. He actually moves off of his "nest" on the back of the couch to charge at the television.

Gutmutter - sorry to hear about Max. Our Jack Russell is almost 14. I wish that our furry friends could live as long as humans do.

Glad she doesn't eat the bread wrapper - that would be dangerous.
She needs to learn to toss the wrapper in the trash to hide the evidence.

I wonder if there is some high pitched sound that he can hear, but you can't, that he is reacting to.
