    Jewels, how adorable.
    Snickertink, Tink's a cutie.
I'm sure everyone here is aware that my 2 are brothers. My previous 2 were not related but were acquired within a few weeks of each other and were the same age. They cuddled, groomed played together constantly.

Speaking of cats cuddling with each other, I have a question for all of you. My two used to do it constantly - grooming each other, sleeping together, playing with each other, the whole nine. Now, if they were people, I'd say they had a major falling out. They mostly ignore each other. I haven't seen them curl up and really sleep on each other in ... a year, maybe? I miss it. I just wonder if this has to do with their age (they're both going on 12 now) or what?

I said I would scan pics to show you the English Bulldog guys, so here we go (it wasnít easy choosing which pics to include, I didnít want to spam/flood this thread, the last picture of Edward is very special, thatís the only picture I have of him at our home, all other other pics are from the dog kennel/breeder). They were all very cute as pups (but then aren't they all?! )

    EDWARD

    BELLMAN

    OSKAR

Oh, and here are some pics of PRINSEN as a pup

I don't think anyone is going to complain about all of your pictures since they are sooo great! That first one of Bellman cracks me up!! I was laughing out loud, and the kitties were giving me the eye!

It might be their age. Our Harv is at least twelve (we got him as an adult stray, so we don't know how old he was) and he has turned into a bit of a crabby old man. He's not gone mean or anything, but he does tend like his own company or that of his two humans. He will allow Finley (two and a half years old) to lick his ears, and he might allow him to sleep on the same bed, but he won't allow any cuddling, so Finley has to do it with us. Which is alright by me.

I'm just a nosy sort and was wondering - how did each of you come up with the names of your pets?
My boys were trying out names and kept coming up with things like "fluffy" and "sparky" and none of them seemed right. The younger one started blurting out cartoon character names and no, he is not named for Boris Badunov, but grandpa Boris Kerpatken on Rugrats. For some reason, it just worked.

When I first got Greta I had also adopted another kitten I named Charlie. Charlie was so demanding it made Greta appear aloof. When I think of aloof I most often think of images of Greta Garbo. Sooo.. Greta Grabo was born.

When I had to take Charlie back I brought home Ella, Greta’s sister. As the runt of the litter, and newcomer to the house she was a prime target of the then reigning queen, Greta. Greta started acting like an evil stepsister to Ella. What could I call her BUT Cinderella? The problem was I was dating a girl named Cindy at the time. Bad form to name your new cat the same name as your girlfriend, sooo… Ella was born.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

Well the guy I adopted Mona from had named her & her "sister" after two drag queens he knew - Ms. Mona Lott & Ms. Layona Davenport, So I got Ms. Mona. Joey was named by my ex fool, idiot had no clue, first three days his name was Buddy as a temporary name, then since the idiot from the pet shop said it was a girl, he named the feline ZOEY, well ZOEY turned out to have boy parts and was changed to JOEY.

Yes, yes it is . If someone I were going out with named their new furry friend after me, I would be all aflutter, certain that the ring would be proffered sooner than I had originally expected.
