Happy Holidays! It's so nice to see everyone's festive pet pictures. Our holiday hounds are getting ready to celebrate as well. Simon is our resident Grinch. He's 13 now but he still enjoys unwrapping his gifts and stealing Henry's loot! Henry especially enjoys the holiday food.

We took Henry to the mall (they had a special "pet night") to get his picture taken with Santa. There was a huge dog in line behind us who drooled all over Henry and seemed to think Henry was a Snausage. We're pretty sure that is why Henry looks so worried in his Santa picture!

We hope that all of you and your animal friends have a wonderful and safe holiday and that "Santa Paws" is good to everyone.

I wanted to share some pictures of the girls. They are too cute.

Very cute Harmoj. I want one of those tree thingys for the boys.
I just got back from taking the boys to the vet. I have to buy another pet carrier as it was damn near a riot getting them both in the same one. I brought it up from the basement, opened the door and set it on the floor. They walked in and out of it a few times while I was on a phone call. I get off the phone, close the door on Laurel who was in it and he immediately transformed into a fierce tiger which in turn freaked out Hardy who took off upstairs. I swear Laurel, my little sweetie pie, was biting at the cage door. Grabbed Hardy, went to put him in and Laurel made his escape. So after about 3 or 4 minutes of one in, one out, I was finally able to shove both of them in the carrier.
I get to the vets office and all the workers, including the doctor who took care of Tigger had to came check them out with the "Aww, how cute" stuff. Anyway they got all their shots, got a passing grade and $178 later we're home. Laurel wieghed in at 9.5 lbs. and Hardy weighed 9.9 lbs. They're 7 months old and she told me to go ahead and start mixing in adult food with their kitten chow. She said they weren't fat but they were going to be some big (tall/long) boys.

I know...isn't that cute. As soon as he gets up on the couch they come a runnin. They will lay here until we have to force them up.

    ETA:
Unclescott..get those boys one of these trees. I'm telling you it was probably one of the best purchases we made for the girls. I don't know if you can tell it from the picture, but they have stripped most of the carpet off the back of the tall post. I find little pieces of pile all over the house...at least it's not my couches.

We too have to have two carriers when we take vet trips. Chloe is no trouble, she's too scared to be, but Maddie gets way too excited...and usually takes it out on her sister. They are the darlings of the vet's office. And at almost 10 lbs...they are going to be big boys! Wow.

Harmoj! Wonderful photos! I love that your kitties have adopted your blanket man and that he doesn't mind at all! So cute seeing them play with the mousey too! Big growing boys - I love big cats!

Unk: I'm glad the vet visit went well, once you got them there. Definitely get your boys a cat tree with different levels. My kitts love them. Sometimes they bat each other over the sides and other times have a tiff about who gets to snooze on the very top. But they love it. I have one by the front window and another in the dining room corner in case they want their own space!

And My, L&H are getting big very quickly aren't they! Mr. Tootles is turning out to be a big boy...he's almost 16 pounds! Gracie is tiny (about 6 lbs).
