Butterfly, one of my dogs is part border collie. She's definitely more border collie than anything else. They are such sweet, smart dogs.

I have a bumper sticker that says "My Border Collie is smarter than your honor roll student". I used to have one that said "If it's not a border collie, it's just a dog", but I took that one off because I thought it was kind of mean because I love all dogs. Actually I love all animals. My "husband-type-person" used to come home from work and tell me all of these horror stories and I had to tell him to stop because I just couldn't handle it anymore. People are so horrible to animals. He has brought home so many abused babies, everything form cats to a duck one time that somebody had set on fire. Poor little thing was so burned. We nursed him back to health and he lived with us for a year before he died.
I am loving going back through this thread and reading all of your pet stories, At this rate I will be here all day! Good thing I am on vacation.

We’ve just returned from vacationing in the Florida Panhandle. Henry had a wonderful time. Here are a few photos from our trip.

#1 – A salty dawg staring out to sea.

#2 – Hangin’ out on the porch, in the heat of the day.

#3 – Doggy paddling in the Gulf of Mexico!

#4 – Hunting crabs on the beach at midnight.

#5 – Henry and I watching the sun go down.

We always enjoy pictures of your pets, and we hope you’ve enjoyed pictures of our sweet Henry.

Looks like Henry had an awesome vacation. I'm so glad he got to go to the beach and relax. A dog's life is so stressful that they need a vacation a few times a year.

I can say that as my dogs certainly do.

Mine LOVE the beach, unfortunately the area of Florida we lived in was very ANTI-dog and we couldn't take them too many places. But we found pet friendly beach hotels and we could take them out on their "private" beach.

Now here in SC, they are much more dog friendly and our doggies can go a lot of places with us and we are all looking forward to that.

Doxie I love the pictures. Henry sure is an active little doggie, the only time I can get Rocko near the water is when she gets thirsty...or she follows another dog in by accident, but as soon as her feet are wet, she's outta there.
